Straightforward terms written for business owners, not lawyers.
Effective date:
- 7-day free trial — no credit card required to start.
- Cancel any time from the app — access continues until the billing period ends.
- AI-generated content created for your business belongs to you.
- You are responsible for reviewing content before it goes live on your accounts.
- Our liability is capped at 12 months of payments — standard industry practice.
- Disputes are governed by the laws of India, courts of Gurugram.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of the Narriva platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Narriva is an AI-powered social media management platform built specifically for Indian small businesses. The Service includes:
- AI-generated social media content (posts, captions, hashtags, stories)
- Local trend detection and festival-aware content suggestions
- Automated scheduling and publishing to Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp
- AI-powered inbox management and DM auto-replies
- Lead capture, tagging, and management from social interactions
- Analytics, performance insights, and content reporting
- Business DNA profile — your brand voice, audience, and content preferences
We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue specific features with reasonable notice. Material changes to core functionality will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility
To use Narriva, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to represent and operate the business for which you are registering. By registering, you represent that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete.
3.2 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. Narriva is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Accurate Information
Providing false or misleading information during registration — including a fake business name or non-existent business — is a material breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate termination.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
4.1 Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features of their selected plan. No credit card is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your saved payment method is charged.
4.2 Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, starting on the day your paid subscription begins. All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept UPI, credit cards, debit cards, and net banking via Razorpay. All transactions are processed securely and encrypted. Narriva does not store any payment instrument details.
4.4 Price Changes
We may revise subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice via email and in-app notification. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date — not mid-cycle.
5. Social Media Account Connections
5.1 Authorization
By connecting your Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp Business account, you authorize Narriva to post content, read and respond to messages, retrieve engagement data, and perform actions necessary to deliver the Service — all on your behalf. You retain full ownership of and responsibility for your social media accounts at all times.
5.2 Platform Compliance
You agree to comply with the terms of service, community standards, and policies of all connected social media platforms. Narriva operates using official Meta APIs and does not engage in any activity that violates platform terms. Narriva is not responsible for any actions taken by Meta or other platforms on your account, including restrictions, suspensions, or policy enforcement.
6. AI-Generated Content
6.1 Content Ownership
All AI-generated content created by Narriva for your business belongs to you. You may edit, publish, repurpose, or delete it freely. You grant Narriva a limited license to use anonymized versions of this content solely to improve our AI models — your brand identity and customer data are never used for this purpose.
6.2 Your Responsibility to Review
While our AI is designed for accuracy and cultural sensitivity, AI can make mistakes. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all content before it is published to your audience. Narriva is not liable for any consequences arising from content you choose to publish.
6.3 Prohibited Content
You agree not to use Narriva to generate or publish content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation in India or internationally
- Infringes on third-party intellectual property, trademarks, or copyrights
- Contains hate speech, communal bias, harassment, or discrimination
- Promotes illegal products, services, or activities
- Contains false, misleading, or deceptive claims about your business
- Violates Meta's Community Standards or WhatsApp's Business Policy
7. Intellectual Property
The Narriva platform — including its software, design, AI models, algorithms, logos, and brand identity — is owned by Narriva and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, resell, or create derivative works based on the Narriva platform without explicit written permission.
8. Data Protection
Your use of Narriva is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Please review these documents to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data and your customers' data.
9. Service Availability
We design Narriva for reliability and target 99.9% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance windows. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure failures, Meta API outages, or events beyond our reasonable control. We communicate scheduled maintenance at least 24 hours in advance.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Narriva shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from third-party platform policy changes or outages
- Any content published by you through the Service
- Actions taken by social media platforms on your connected accounts
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Narriva in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Narriva, its founders, officers, employees, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right including social media platform policies; or (d) content published by you using the Service.
12. Termination
12.1 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app under Settings → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain full access until then. See our Refund Policy for details on refund eligibility.
12.2 Termination by Narriva
We may suspend or terminate your account if you: materially breach these Terms; engage in fraudulent activity; attempt to harm the platform or other users; or repeatedly violate social media platform policies through Narriva. We will provide reasonable notice except where immediate action is required to prevent harm.
12.3 Data After Termination
Upon account termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After this window, all personal data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the DPDP Act, 2023.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and in-app notification at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
